Privacy Policy

Updated 22 September 2026

This policy explains how turboship.media handles personal information when you browse the website, contact us or order press release services. For privacy questions and requests, contact support@turboship.media.

1. Information involved

You may give us your name, business name, email address, telephone number, website, billing information, order details and correspondence. A release brief can also contain photographs, quotes, social links or information about other people. Submit only material you are entitled to share and identify any information that must stay out of the published release.

Hosting and service providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser and device information, request times and error logs. Our site uses Framer’s built-in, cookie-free analytics to understand aggregate visits and page use. We do not ask for precise device location through the website. Payment details supplied to a payment provider are handled under that provider’s terms and privacy notice.

2. Why we process information

We use order and contact details to answer enquiries, prepare drafts, obtain approval, arrange distribution, provide reports, take payment and resolve support or refund requests. We also use necessary information to protect our systems, keep business records and meet legal obligations.

Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, processing may be necessary to perform a contract, meet a legal obligation, or pursue legitimate interests such as security and service administration, subject to your rights. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it for future processing. Optional marketing messages must offer a way to unsubscribe.

Advertising measurement

With advertising measurement enabled, Pixel Flow and Meta receive eligible page, checkout and saved-enquiry activity, and verified purchase value and currency. Matching can include genuine Meta click/browser identifiers, an advertising visitor identifier, IP address, browser information and SHA-256 hashes of your private order email and the first and last name you provide. A Contact event is sent only after your enquiry is saved and may use a hash of the email you provide with it; your message is not included. Hashing supports matching; it does not make that information anonymous. We do not use the public brand representative’s identity to identify the purchaser. Private account, administrator and shared-order pages are excluded from browser advertising tracking.

The automatic cookie popup is currently disabled; measurement is enabled by default unless you have rejected it or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. This default is not recorded as your explicit consent. You can reject or withdraw this optional processing through Cookie preferences or the Cookie Consent footer link without affecting your order. We honor Global Privacy Control. Our checkout attribution expires within 90 days. Remaining unsuccessful-delivery matching data is removed within 30 days of the conversion record; a minimal ledger remains to prevent duplicate reporting. Withdrawal removes our saved matching context and suppresses unsent events, subject to an in-flight request or temporary offline connection. Provider-held information is subject to the provider’s policies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

3. Sharing and publication

An approved press release is intended to become public. We share it and the materials necessary for distribution with writers, distribution partners and publishers. Public copies may be indexed, quoted or retained by search engines, AI services and other third parties. Avoid putting private details into a release you intend to publish.

Other providers may process information for hosting, storage, communications, analytics, technical support, payments or professional advice. Access should be limited to what is necessary for their work. We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to a lawful request, enforce an agreement or protect people and legal rights. A reorganization or transfer of the business may include relevant records, subject to applicable safeguards and notices.

4. Retention, security and international processing

We retain personal information for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable accounting, dispute-resolution or legal requirements. We use reasonable organizational and technical precautions, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Publicly distributed material is subject to each publisher’s retention practices.

Providers may process information outside your country. Where required, international transfers must use a recognized legal basis and suitable safeguards. You can ask us about the safeguards relevant to your information. We do not promise that every country has identical privacy laws.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction of processing or object to particular uses. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity, and some records must be retained for legal reasons. Contact us if you believe a privacy request or complaint has not been handled correctly; you may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

You can decline to supply optional information, although we may be unable to provide a service that requires it. Unsubscribe from marketing messages using their link or by email. If you supply another person’s information, ensure you have authority to do so. Our business services are not directed to children; anyone under 16 should involve a parent or guardian before sharing personal information.

6. Cookies, external websites and changes

Our Cookie Policy explains cookies, browser controls and third-party services. Links to another website take you to a service with its own privacy practices. This policy does not govern that independent service.

We may update this notice to reflect changes in our operations or applicable requirements. The update date identifies the current version. We will provide any additional notice, consent request or breach notification required by applicable law.
